近年来跨国史借鉴全球史跨文化研究理念，形成一股学术风潮，方兴未艾。主张以跨国史研究范式进行国际关系研究的代表人物入江昭，以非政府行为体以及文化交流视角重新审视国际关系，认为在传统地缘政治关系之外存在另外一种人类共同体。研究认为，由于体育的跨文化以及非政府属性， 对体育跨国行为的研究能够补充以往地缘政治构建的国际关系，呈现更加完整的国际关系史全貌。采用文献分析法，对学术界代表性研究成果的内容进行分析，与以往地缘政治研究结果进行对比，凸显从体育跨国史视角研究国际关系的价值。研究结果显示，目前国际学术界对体育跨国史研究尚处于探索阶段，这对中国学术界而言既是机遇也是挑战。中国学术界在借鉴跨国史研究范式时，应采用“自下而上”的研究视角，依靠多国、多层次档案为研究支撑，结合已有国际关系理论研究成果，对体育史这一新研究范式进行有益探索。

Recently，transnational history has drawn upon ideas of global history and formed a rising academic trend. Akira Iriye，a representative figure who advocates studying international relations with the paradigm of transnational history，reexamines international relations from the perspective of non-governmental actors and cultural exchanges，and claims that there is another kind of human community beyond the geopolitical relations. The study deems that due to the cross-cultural and nongovernmental nature of sport，the study of transnational sports behavior can supplement the previous international relations constructed by geopolitics and present a more complete picture of the history of international relations. Using literature analysis method，this study analyzes the content of the representative research and compares them with the previous geopolitical studies，highlighting the value of international relations from the perspective of the transnational history of sports. The research results show that the international studies of transnational history of sports is still at the exploratory stage，which is both an opportunity and a challenge for the Chinese scholars. Chinese scholars should adopt a “bottom-up” approach，taking multicountry and multi-level archives as research support，combining with the existing research results of international relations theory，so as to make beneficial exploration of the new research paradigm of sports history.
